These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mixture — the web application at mixture.dev, its browser extension, plugins, and related services (together, the "Service") — operated by FloatLabs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Mixture is a tool for creating and editing video, including with the assistance of AI agents. The Service is currently offered as an invite-only beta, free of charge. Beta software changes frequently: features may be added, changed, or removed, and availability may be interrupted, without notice. We may introduce paid plans in the future; we will tell you before anything you use stops being free.
You sign in with a code or link sent to your email address; keeping access to that mailbox secure is your responsibility, and activity under your account is treated as yours. You must be at least 16 years old, provide accurate information, and use the Service only if invited to do so. Accounts are for a single person; agent tokens and connect links the Service issues for your projects are secrets — treat them like passwords.
You keep all rights to the media you upload and the videos you create ("Your Content"). You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the Service: to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content for you and the people you choose to share it with. We claim no ownership of your output and do not use Your Content to train AI models.
You are responsible for Your Content — you confirm you have the rights to the material you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law.
You agree not to:
Some features generate images, video, or other output using third-party AI models. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected; review it before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use generated output, and your use of AI features must also comply with the relevant model providers' acceptable-use requirements.
You can stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms, or withdraw the beta in whole or part. Where practical we will give you the opportunity to export Your Content first.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to £50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Keep copies of work that matters to you — this is beta software.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will notify you (for example by email or in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
