Cut to the beat
Motion that lands on the music reads as intentional; motion that almost lands reads as broken. Mixture detects the beats in any audio automatically — your agent anchors the edit to them.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- A music track, and some material to cut between — b-roll clips, photos, or scenes you’ve already built.
- A connected agent.
What to say
Section titled “What to say”Cut this b-roll to the beat of track.mp3 — switch shots every fourth beat, and make the logo pulse on the downbeats.
Or building intensity:
Start calm, then bring elements in on the beat and build to the drop at 0:42.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”The agent anchors animations and scene switches to the track’s detected beats rather than hand-typed times — pulse on the beat, reveal a different element per beat, cut shots on every Nth. Because the anchors are beats, swapping the track or trimming the intro re-lands everything on the new grid.
Make it yours
Section titled “Make it yours”The beats are visible on the timeline — drag any anchored animation to a different beat, or change the “every Nth” rhythm in the panel. Ask the agent to “match the energy of the second verse” and it re-tiers the motion against the same grid.
