Design, layout & typography

Agents don’t just place layers — they’re held to a design bar. Before composing anything with a visible design surface, an agent derives a style ledger for the project (palette roles, a type pairing and ramp, a spacing scale, corner radius, easing defaults) and takes every visual value from it, so the result reads as one designed piece rather than assembled parts.

Build a launch video for this brief — use our brand from mixture.dev.

This frame feels cluttered. Fix the hierarchy.

Make the stat cards feel like one family — same radius, same shadow language.

  • Real material first. Assets decide the ceiling: the agent inventories what’s in the project, mines your website for the real typeface, logo, and palette, or generates imagery — before composing. Type over a gradient is treated as the floor, not a style.
  • Your components before lookalikes. Agents list your saved components and read their exact parameters — and they’re nudged to compose from them rather than hand-building imitations. Build your brand into Account-scoped components and assets once, and “make a video from this script” comes out in your style every time — and because instances stay linked, updating a component updates every video that uses it, no re-editing. (Saved templates — whole compositions as starting points — are coming soon.)
  • Auto-layout for anything UI-shaped. Cards, badges, button rows, and lists are built as auto-layout groups — so they stay aligned through every edit and retime, instead of hand-placed coordinates that drift.
  • Typography craft — pairings, a deliberate type ramp, tracking and case decisions, safe areas, and contrast rules (text is always backed when it sits over media).
  • The polish pass — layered shadows instead of one fat blur, grain over gradients to kill banding, surface highlights, glass panels done properly.
  • Self-review before “done”. The agent renders real frames of its own work and critiques them — overlap, contrast, hierarchy — and must fix what it finds before it reports back. “Looks right in the JSON” doesn’t count.

The ledger’s choices land as ordinary fills, fonts, and layout groups — restyle anything in the properties panel, and ask the agent to “apply that everywhere” to propagate a change you made by hand.
